Kawhi didn't laugh during his MVP presentation...wtf was the point of it, then?

I'm hearing Klay Thompson tore his ACL...the Warriors dynasty is done and probably not in the way most thought it would go. Tough luck, but I'm gonna be honest, I've been ready for them to be done.

So long, Golden State. You'll always be remembered as the 'dynasty' who beat a one man team 3 out of 4 tries.

WTF is wrong with you people? If Dray doesn't call time, the 0.9 second on the clock expires immediately. They had 0 chance either way. If Klay doesn't tear his ACL, they are up 85-80 and have a great chance to force Game 7.
And KD doesn't come to GS if they win the 2016 title.

If Klay doesn't tear his ACL, they are up 85-80 and have a great chance to force Game 7. And KD doesn't come to GS if they win the 2016 title. If you were allowed to play defense and there were any good teams in the Eastern conference, Golden State would have 0 titles. They beat a one man Lebron team 3 times and lost to him a fourth. They played a team with a solid roster for once this season and they lost. They didn't have Durant when they won their first title and 73 games the next season, so don't use his injury as an excuse. The one time Thompson tried to do anything other than hit wide open catch-and-shoot threes, he blew out his knee. This amazing team couldn't three-peat, something Shaq's Lakers did. Their stars are one dimensional players. Their most versatile player is a head case who was once suspended during the Finals for kicking too many people in the nuts. Nobody on that team has any character. Curry sprains an ankle and misses 25 games. He can go 0-16 from three, then finally hit one in the second half and immediately breaks into a vibrating dance routine as if what he just did was amazing. Trade LeBron for Curry a few years ago and the Warriors go 80-2 while the Cavs go 20-62. Steve Kerr won coach of the year in a season where his assistant Luke Walton actually coached more games than he did. It's the weakest 'dynasty' in NBA history. In the end, this dynasty that so many caught-in-the-moment fans are hyping as historic will finish with three titles in four years. The 80s Celtics had three titles against much tougher competition. The 80s Lakers had five in that same competitive era. Jordan three peated twice. Shaq & Kobe three peated. The Spurs had five titles in over a decade of consistent play. And we won't even get into the 50s-60s Celtics. So that makes the Warriors maybe the seventh best dynasty in NBA history? And that's just going by accomplishments. On the court, the 94 & 95 Houston Rockets would destroy the Warriors. The Bad Boys would literally have destroyed them. Hell, the 90s Knicks would crush this team, and they never won a title. I'm looking forward to seeing how Steph Curry carries this team by himself next year. Can't wait to see Steve Kerr's coaching genius get them to the Finals again.

Respect to the Warriors. Sure they went the path they did, but none of the KD Thunder, Harden Rockets, & 3 of 4 LeBron teams would shake them. I cannot think of a dynastic team that ever literally broke apart before the world's eyes on its biggest stage as we just witnessed (Yankees teams got old, Canadiens teams got old, Celtics ran into the Lakers who ran into the Bulls who mastered 2 threepeats). As a Patriots fan, I can only dream that if an injury to Tom Brady were to end his run, it'd be something a minor nuisance like a sprained wrist or fractured thumb easily repaired which wouldn't see him in hospital & rehab from life for weeks & months.

Celtics didn't run into the Lakers. They beat the Lakers in 84 and would've demolished them in 86 if only the Lakers hadn't choked to the Rockets. Both were great teams and had multiple championships in the decade, and both teams got old at the same time. The difference is the next set of great teams came out of the East, giving the Lakers more Finals appearances. But the Lakers ran into the Pistons before they ran into the Bulls. It's odd that the Warriors collapse happened in a series of catastrophic injuries like this, but dominant teams in all sports have their day and then fall apart. Whether it be age, injury, free agency or complacency. The early 2000s Lakers collapse was worse, in my opinion. Two all time great players who could no longer coexist tore it apart from the inside. That team had another three titles in it at least. I don't even want to think about Brady's end.

The Sixers have been awarded their 3rd straight Christmas Day Game. Do any of you know what this means. Anyone? Anyone? It means 'WE' are 'ELITE'

the question becomes - who do we invite to play?
I mean The World Champion Raptors are uninteresting when Kawhi bolts, Celts again? possibly. Knicks again? possibly. Nets? meh - maybe if they lands some star free agents.
lakers?
warriors?
ho-hum.
who will get the chance to play here on Christmas Day

He's past his physical prime, he's merely playing mind chess now on opponents with a slimmed version of his younger self. We're on borrowed time & he's still winning rings lols.

NBA I'd wonder might give Toronto a home game if they wanted it on the 25th, maybe against whichever Knicks or Nets have a more interesting summer.

Well he was robbed of a year of his prime in 2008, and he's still among the best statistically to ever play. Injuries can happen any time, but yeah it's all gravy from here on out.

typically look at this like the 1st Thursday Night Game of the year in the NFL - should be a Super Bowl rematch - if nothing else at least 'Conference Championship' rematch - or a bloodbath with a 'rival'.
so maybe you guys vs. the dubs again on Christmas Day?
