And my personal explanation for why the sexually active often get taken down first in horror movies is because people getting it on let their guard down and aren't as quick to notice when something nasty is afoot or to react accordingly.

A question I have is: is this something you've actually observed studied, taken notes about, Farside, or is it just a casual question? The thing is, while I seldom watch contemporary horrors, by which mean current non-Gothic horrors set in our time, I haven't noticed the pattern of sluts getting killed in these horrors. It happens. I've seen it a number of times, but how common is it really? For all I know more nuns get killed in horrors. Can't say for sure. |

I always figured it was because the writer or director had an issue trying to pick up chicks when he was in high school (not even the promiscuous ones) so it was his way of getting revenge.
