Arguably the second worst thing Harvey Weinstein ever did?

I voted 666. They're all bad, but this one actually had potential with John Franklin back as Isaac and they totally blew it.

I would say 'Children of the Corn 7: Revelation' 'cause it was nothing like any of the other 'Children of the Corn' movies and was more of a ghost story using the name to get fans of the series to watch it. I personally like the 'Children of the Corn' movies and know a lot of other people that do too which is why there have been so many of them and I think 'Children of the Corn 2 and 3' were better than the first movie but that is just me. For me the best movies were the first six 'Children of the Corn' movies and I feel it fell apart after 7 and hasn't been able to recover.'Children of the Corn 666: Isaac's Return' was disappointing but I enjoyed parts of it and liked seeing Isaac come back as an adult but every movie since then has moved further and further away from the concept of the first movie and doesn't feel like a 'Children of the Corn' movie anymore. They tried to reboot it with the remake with David Anders but it was horrible so they continued on again with 'Genesis' and 'Runaway' ignoring it.
I wouldn't give Harvey Weinstein credit for the 'Children of the Corn' movies since it was said he hated the movies and always took a lot of convincing to get the sequels released and it was Harvey Weinstein that stopped the franchise for nearly a decade after 'Revelation' and it was only after he was exposed as a rapist and slimebucket 'Children of the Corn: Runaway' got given the greenlight to move ahead along with 'Hellraiser: Judgment' which he also had put in developmental hell.

I'm not gonna lie; I kinda liked Revelation, bad as it is. It has this weird quality that I can't quite place my finger on. I remember the ending being insanely stupid, though. Oh, and Michael Ironside is always nice. As for Harvey, I always assumed he and his brother were content to make a dime on any old piece of shit movie, hence the lousy quality of these and the Hellraiser sequels. I also kinda figured that once they stopped making money, the sequels were put on ice. Audiences were thinking "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me seven or more times, shame on me!"

It looks like I'm missing ratings on a couple of them, but per what I have recorded on IMDb, I rated 666: Isaac's Return and Genesis lowest. I gave each a 6/10.

Re the last time I watched the series, my ratings were: Children of the Corn - 8/10 II: The Final Sacrifice - 8/10 III: Urban Harvest - 10/10 (IV) The Gathering - 8/10 V: Fields of Terror - 8/10 666: Isaac's Return - 6/10 (VII) Revelation -8/10 (VIII) Genesis - 6/10 The vast majority of films I watch--well over 90%, I rate an 8, 9 or 10.

The one where they ran out of butter! I found the one where they ran out of floss to be especially brutal.

I've only seen the first five, so I'll abstain from voting. But I remember V being absolute dogsh*t (and I was like 10, so not difficult to impress) and I just saw IV last night which was a bit of a snoozefest.
First three are reasonably watchable, with 3 (Children of the Corn in the Hood) being maybe my favorite.

6 movie dvd for five bucks. Less than a buck a movie! Can't argue with that.

I voted for the second film because it completely killed my interest in the series.

6 movie dvd for five bucks. Less than a buck a movie! Can't argue with that. Given that it's an Echo Bridge (aka Mill Creek) release, I'd say even that is overpriced. They put out absolute shit transfers.
