Maisie Williams Describes a Lonely Ending for Arya on Game of Thrones Now that the Game of Thrones cast has wrapped up filming the final season, the end is starting to feel real. Earlier this week, Peter Dinklage hinted at a grim ending for Tyrion Lannister when describing his character's final scenes to Vulture. In a new interview with The Guardian, Maisie Williams described her own final scene in the upcoming Season 8. “I ended on the perfect scene,” she said. “I was alone – shocker! Arya’s always bloody alone. But I was alone and I had watched a lot of other people wrap. I knew the drill, I had seen the tears and heard the speeches.” Now, we know from Dinklage's interview that the scenes aren't filmed in order. So, Williams' final scene might not Arya's final scene. Here, it's unclear if she's actually referring to her character's final scene, her own final scene, or both. If this is her final scene, why exactly is Arya alone? We last see her in Winterfell with her sister, but what could happen in between then and the finale to where she ends up alone? Certainly, if it is a happy ending, one would imagine Arya would finally be with her siblings after defeating the White Walkers. This calls to mind a final scene of Arya walking off into the sunset or, even worse, dying alone. Or, more realistically, she travels back to Braavos where she had done her training with the Faceless Men. Anyhoo, this is all wild speculation, and is probably not going to happen at all. But, what we do know of the final season so far is that at one point Arya will be alone and things probably won't be happy for Tyrion. And that's more than nothing, at least, right? www.esquire.com/entertainment/tv/a23896117/arya-alone-game-of-thrones-season-8-theory-spoiler/

Well, death is a solitary thing when you think of it, no matter how many people are around to watch Arya is just a bunch of needles, not fit for human company. Her ending alone is the only plausible case of survival.

Assuming she lived I expected her to be alone in the end. Most likely setting off for some new or old land. Traveling around. I never figured her tale would end with her settling down in some castle having Gendrys babies.

I never figured her take would end with her settling down in some castle having Gendrys babies. True. She is a true lone wolf. Dead or alive, she will remain special because she is unique and different from the rest of the nobility.
