So I just seen the new Halloween film. I liked it but the one thing that bothered me was Laurie's daughter Karen. Not the character but the casting. I have no beef with Judy Greer but I dont think she was right in the role. I would have loved to see Danielle Harris play Karen. It would be great to see her and Jamie Lee Curtis on the screen together.

I don't see why not. Sure, the film went out of it's way to erase the sequels, but then just shoved in five dozen homages anyway.
As for Judy Greer herself, she was okay, but she should have told Michael "Say goodbye to THESE!" at the end.

I thought she was perfect for the character as written. I'm always happy to see her and this was one of the rare instances where a film didn't completely waste her. Casting Danielle in the role would've been far too distracting. I have warm, fuzzy nostalgia for Jamie Lloyd and all that, but no. Just no.
