I must say that I loved the exchange between Eric and Kyle during Monday’s episode. What a great moment.
Having watched yesterday’s episode made me realize what a much better actor Eric is than Kyle. When Brady confessed everything to Eve he seemed so destroyed and in such pain. I actually shed some tears as well.
Kyle just seems so one sided and no depth. I’ve never cared for the actor and I couldn’t stand him as Brady. He always seemed so bitter and nasty. And, I’m just not buying him as Rex. I hope he isn’t staying long term.

I used to say this all the time on the old IMDB boards but EM’s Brady is a Brady I can get on board with! As dumb as they write Brady, I love EM in the role.
I never cared for KL as Brady, I just cringe thinking of that episode him and Chloe were galavanting around a swing set singing show tunes. It was God awful.
KL is ok on the show but he’s not any semblance of Rex. However it was so long since Rex was on the show I barely remember what his character was like to compare KL to Eric Winter.
On another note, thy showed Brady’s chest scar today. I was surprised by that. It’s like they forgot he got a heart transplant.

I was surprised that they showed his chest scar as well. However, it was missing when he was putting his shirt back on. HAHA 😆
Eric Winter as Rex was very laid back. He reminded me a bit of Jensen Ackles when he played Eric. Kyle could be any bland character right now. There’s no substance to his character at all. Hopefully that will change when his world turns upside down when Chloe delivers some shocking news later this week.
I also cringe when I think back to Brady and Chloe singing to each other. That was way too corny. That belonged to Doug and Julie in the early to mid 70s.

I much prefer Eric Martsolf's Brady to Kyle Lowder's, and at this point he's been in the role twice as long, but there's still a knee-jerk reaction I have to thinking of Kyle Lowder as Brady. On Daytime Royalty, more than once I caught myself typing Brady when meaning to refer to Rex.
So far, I think he's fine in the role. I mean, there wasn't a lot there yet. Rex was never a character I cared much about to begin with and while Eric Winter was fine, he wasn't particularly memorable in my opinion. The only thing of significance I remember about him was that he was supposed to be a super genius, but they didn't really... do anything with that. And if Rex is a doctor now than he's still smart so, that's fine.

Bringing Rex on seems rather pointless now that Mimi is gone and Eric and Sarah are headed for romance.
Is Rex gone or they just haven't shown him in a while?

Rex went to Pennsylvania to spend time with Emily. He'll be back in January. Kyle Lowder has been on set a lot, so I would be surprised if he's on contract when he comes back.

I'm glad Rex will be back. Of him and Mimi this time around I had greater attachment to her because it's, y'know, actually Mimi. But if Rex stays around, it feels more like that storyline wasn't for no reason. Mimi could always come back. And it did feel like there was unfinished business between Rex and Sarah.
