Is Kathleen out of her mind? Literally no one is asking for another prequel story from a dead character.

Did anyone actually care about the character to begin with? What’s the point of this?

This is great. His character was a Separatist fighter, which adds layers of complexity right there. And espionage in the Star Wars universe provides all kinds of story possibilities. A brilliant idea.

I didn't mind his character, but this is a random choice for a tv series.
I understand that Disney wants to do a lot of exclusive content for Disney+ but this just reeks of desperation.
Why not adapt something from the Extended Universe that they decanonized?

Rogue One is the one shining beacon in a cesspool of mouse dung.
But this sounds like another play-it-save-by-playing-it-close-to-the-OT business decisions. And too close to Rebels.
Whatever, the subject matter could be interesting if it is aimed at the more adult audiences and if they have solid scripts.

I liked Luna, and I think "Cassian Andor" is prolly the only Disney character who belongs in the Lucas (real SW) universe. But I don't feel particularly compelled to watch him in random episodic adventures and won't give Disney a dime for their shitty streaming service.
So, this has no impact on my life.

I am not opposed this Cassian getting his own series, but honestly how many other supporting/minor characters would you select before him?
--Lando --Darth Maul --Boba/Jango Fett --Admiral Ackbar --Wedge Antilles/Rogue Squadron
Is Cassian really at the top of the list here?

Is Cassian really at the top of the list here? Yes, Cassian tops everyone on YOUR list. The only plausible suggestion you have is Lando, and he's going to be ruled out by association with the failure of Solo. If not for that, he'd be a great candidate. The one you left off that would be superior--and I can't understand why Disney didn't consider it--is Obi Wan. Hopefully that will still happen down the road, because McGregor was the best thing about the prequels.

If K-2SO isn't in it, I'm out.
