When I first glanced at your KISS CD I thought it was a DVD of the ultra cheesy TV movie KISS Meets The Phantom Of The Park, lol! I literally have not seen that one since it debuted in 1978. Never heard about that one. Might be something to add onto the list of potential unseen horror films later on. Was that movie a one time deal, or planned to be part of a bigger series with other iconic movie monsters like Frankenstein, Dracula, Wolf Man and such?

It's not really horror, it's more like a superhero/fantasy-type thing. Each member of KISS has some kind of superpower and the plot concerns them doing battle with an evil inventor who wants to destroy an amusement park. The only thing I remember about it is Gene Simmons having the ability to breathe fire. This TV movie was likely just a one time deal. It did get high ratings when it aired, but even if the producers wanted a sequel or a series developed KISS wouldn't have been involved because they hated this movie and were embarrassed they appeared in it.

Ended up with another impulsive go towards a second hand store, which sadly did not have too many interesting horror releases lying around. Found at least 1, most likely not a "classic", yet Adam Baldwin and Udo Kier is involved, so will most likely include it the upcoming month. However, I did stumble upon lots of older film noir crime titles of the 40s and 50s. No idea if everyone and all is all that great, but do have a weak spot for that kind of older entertainment. Was more pleased with how the music album purchases turned out, also very glad that when I got home, finally the 3-CD soundtrack set by Intrada of Howard the Duck arrived in my mailbox. Love the Thomas Dolby and Cherry Bombs upbeat punk, new wave and synth pop songs, so this almost 3 and a half hour of music from Dolby, John Barry and Sylvester Levay should be an interesting listen. Also picked up Volume 1 and 3 of a collection focusing on both the older original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics from Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman, along with more recent stuff. Somehow, volume 2 was not easy to come by, so had to put in a order, hopefully it will arrive later on. Only downside is the lame artwork, which looks very cheap and rushed.

Nice collection of 1940/50s crime films, and the Marlene Dietrich set. The Street with No Name is my favourite of what I see. Fallen Angel is one I would like to see. Mainly for Linda Darnell. I own a copy of Joe, but haven’t got around to it. Interested in what you think, as I noticed you recently logged it on Letterboxd. As a kid I used to own a few of Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman’s Ninja Turtles graphic novels. I cannot remember what editions, but they wore all red compared the variety colours (red, blue, purple… etc). So they might been the earlier comics. If I remember correctly, they were mildly violent and darker in tone.
