Some of you may remember the 2011 French dramedy "Intouchables", about the unlikely friendship between a wealthy white wheelchair-bound man and his poor, black driver/caretaker. It was a huge success in France and internationally. There is now an upcoming American remake starring Bryan Cranston and Kevin Hart. I had never heard of it until I saw the poster earlier today.
I usually avoid Hollywood remakes of recent non-American movies but I might check this one out, mostly because of Bryan Cranston.

Name of the film is "The Upside" and IMDb lists it as being from 2017. It already has plenty of votes, so it looks like it has already received a limited release. The user rating is pretty low, but it might be because of people voting a "1" without having seen it, as some kind of protest against remakes in general. www.imdb.com/title/tt1987680/reference
