Why can't they get the names right? She has never considered herself Sansa Lannister. She was married forcefully. She considers herself a Stark.

Of course she says she is a Stark when talking to people who make a point of being loyal to that name like Lyanna Mormont. Catelyn Stark also made a point of being a former Tully when calling upon men to seize Tyrion in S1. Only naive fools give credence to smart people identifying with a name. These are tools to be used. Sansa understands this.

These are tools to be used. Sansa understands this. yes maybe in name only but sansa never said anything about baratheons unless i missed it , in fact she thought king robert was disgusting drunken fool she told so her dad and i also think joffrey thought of himself more of a lannister than a baratheon, i remember joffrey telling sansa season 2 or 3 when she married tyrion , " you did it youre a lanister now its what you wanted" so i think the notion or idea was sansa wanted to be more like a lannister thats how i took it joffrey and robert were never close they never shared a father son relationship maybe if robert was more of a father to him joffrey would have turned different. But back to sansa i think out of all the characters she changed the more and for the good and smarter in recent interview Sophie Turner said Sansa knows what she wants in final season and will face threats against what she wants. ‘She’s a real, true leader of Winterfell now,’ [Sophie] added. ‘Ad that’s where we first see her – as a very protective, empowered lady in charge. It’s the first time you ever see her like that, and it’s so amazing to see her like that – kind of owning her destiny. what are those threats? and from who?

The threats are the obvious: the "army of the dead", but most likely Daenerys in some form. My guess is that Jon's "bending the knee" won't go down well with the Northerners, especially with those "who know no king but the King in the North whose name is Stark". That's why I believe in Jorah betraying Daenerys "for blood" in the final phase. Lyanna Mormont was introduced for this very purpose.
Sansa did change an awful lot and I have no doubt she is the winning one in the story. The one who stands tall in the end, regardless of losses around her. In a way she is being made into the more acceptable version of Cersei, the one the dumb masses could like to some extent.
Joffrey's identity is a mess in the show. He calls himself a Lannister when talking to Sansa but tells Tywin his father won the real war in S3E10. And anyway, Sansa thought him a true Baratheon in S1. She never thought she was marrying a Lannister then, but called him "a golden lion". So it's ambiguous. I guess she just wanted to marry the Prince.
