really liked it. Probably my fav performance was by Reese Witherspoon . I wrote somewhere how her performance was a subversion of her popular Elle Woods role as well.

She was great in BLL cause IMO she personified the whole OC mom perfectly . She could be funny, charming & of course down right annoying lol. Such a good performance.

Especially when shes sitting at the pc crying was very poignant actually.

The whole ensemble rocked, but I think Nicole Kidman had to dig the furthest to get to what was required of her. She was fantastic. She’s talked about how scary it actually was doing those rough, emotional scenes. On that note, Alexander Skarsgard deserves some recognition. He killed it as such a duplicitous, slimy, vicious scumbag.

Season 2: Streep, duh! Wasn't really clamoring for more, it seemed like it ended just fine, but after having seen the first episode, I'm glad it continues. There's more tale to tell.

Agree on all counts here. Streep rocks. everybody else is dull or annoying. i was rooting for Meryl. And Ed. the rest seem spoiled morally dubious annoying women. skipped an episose and half.

Now that it's over, I have to say Reese surprised me a lot with her portrayal, and so die Zoe.
Laura Dern kicked ass also.
