Why'd they cast Tom Holland again? Oh right, it's another origin story.
So many other people I'd choose for Nathan Drake before him-and no, not Nathan Fillion! He's too fucking old already!

"Naughty Dog based Drake's appearance and personality on daredevil Johnny Knoxville, actor Harrison Ford, and the heroes of pulp magazines, novels and films."
**In other words nothing like Tom Holland. But Hollywood has gotta have its white beta male.
Lord knows what might happen if they an old fashioned leading man type.

I'm actually surprised they didn't try to force Scott Eastwood or Liam Hemsworth into the lead role. I think someone like Sebastian Stan or Glen Powell would be good. But Hollywood doesn't seem interested in making Powell a bigger star.

Another director to add to the list. I'd bet real money this never gets made.

Giving Video Game movie adaptions track record, I would love to see this not get made.

Giving Video Game movie adaptions track record, I would love to see this not get made. Fair enough. It seems like an easy pitch: It's just an updated Indiana Jones type of action/adventure story. But then again I thought the same thing about the Tomb Raider reboot which is objectively better than the Angelina Jolie movies. But it's not much fun. Hollywood has so much trouble with this type of movie these days I'm like "thank god for Sahara coming out when it did".
