Ancelotti requested the game be suspended 3 times because of racist abuse of a player by Inter fans.
Ultras from as far away as Nice in France came to take sides... Napoli fans' mini buses were attacked, and an inter fan was killed after being run over by Napoli ultras in a minibus.
The Milan authories now want Inter supporters banned from home and away games until the end of March.
Bedlam.

Wish these players / teams would actually just walk off the pitch when this happens. All very well saying "next time" but someone needs to stand up and just do it.

Yeah, that's what's always said about these circumstances but I reckon they should say fluck it and just walk off. Maybe they'd lose three points but the sh1tstorm which would blow up around just that could pretty quickly lead to change.
Headlines like "Racists Rewarded With Another Three Points" surely couldn't be allowed to stand in any language... (well maybe in Russian!)

When I first heard this story this morning, I thought Italy is rife with racism in football, so whats the big deal, we've been hearing about this shit for decades. Is there any fans over there more racist than the rest, I suppose Lazio fans are nazi's, remember hearing that years ago. Anyway Inter Milan will play behind closed doors for 2 games, something good came out of the incident www.bbc.com/sport/football/46696329

Ultras are scum. No excuse for them to even be allowed into games.

Inter coach Spalletti has his say in presser...
"I condemn (what happened) with no ifs and buts.
It's the moment to say 'Enough' to hatred in football.
Enough to racism and any form of discrimination in the stadium.
Enough to those who celebrate the Heysel or Superga disasters.
Enough to jeering a coach or a player for 90 minutes.
Enough to hatred in football in general. That is the main thing."
Spalletti said that Inter were "with Koulibaly, as we are at the side of all those who are targeted during the games".
"It's very disappointing not to play in front of our own crowd but, if it's the price we have to pay to win this battle, we'll do it willingly."

Well done Spalletti
Never heard of that Superga disaster, and Torino won the league that season too
