Not only do they not have a game this week ( not a weather problem this time ) but their Shinty team is current holders of the Balliemore Cup, a competition open only to the senior shinty teams in Scotland. There seem to be about 2 million teams around with names that are not only unpronounceable but rumoured to be politically incorrect as well (ie Caberfeidh which is about 20 miles north of Inverness). Strange game shinty. It's 12-a-side and played on pitches that are up to 170 yards long and 80 yards wide. Their ref's association have asked for scooters to help them keep up with play. Other rules are similar to footie. 2 halves of 45 minutes and they do have substitutes
