for sansa haters who believe she will betray jon or do something horrible to the starks , it has been sansa who has been there for jon since he came back to "life" he had literally given up on life until sansa convinced him to take back their home and it is sansa who told the northern lords jon is thier "king" when they wanted him out and it is sansa who told jon he is good at ruling ... (Game of Thrones, S07E0 SANSA:Joffrey never let anyone question his authority. You think he was a good king? JON:“Do you think I’m Joffrey?”… SANSA“You’re as far from Joffrey as anyone I’ve ever met.” “You’re good at this, you know.”… JON" : “At what?”… SANSA:“At ruling.” who else comes to mind when you think of sansa description of joffrey ... NEVER lets anyone question their authority , think about it ... this is who comes to my mind DAENYRYS TARGARYEN How many times did joffrey scream he was a GOOD King? plenty and that EVERYONE was his to torment ? who constantly says they were born to rule the seven kingdoms??? and who is burning people that dont bend the knee? Daenyrys Targaryen so again i ask how is this jon/dany going to work out? they are like day and night very well pointed out by sansa the future queen of westeros

And yet, a good ruler doesn't let anyone question their authority. This is one more of those cases when you clearly see the authors are either political fools or consciously write for them. A good ruler will allow the questioning of many things, especially of the decisions to take, but not of the established authority, not of who takes decisions. Tywin was a good leader, telling Joffrey and Tommen to heed the advice of experts and of the experienced, driven by pragmatism and reality. He would not take decisions inconsiderately and we saw him work with others. He would also delegate power, sending Tyrion to rule in his stead. I haven't seen Jon in S7 but in S5 he devised all his plans on his own and then announced them, expecting people to follow. That didn't work. This is not proper leading. But ruling is not leading. Jon might be better at ruling. Daenerys is better at leading. Maybe they should work together instead of spilling seed

It depends upon what perspective you take. Good as in a person who wants to reach out to various conflicting sides and make peace between them? Yes, that's the good thing about Jon.
But is he good as in showing alertness in his decision making? Not really. He almost got himself killed by Ramsay's forces. Once again he took a poor decision to go beyond the wall to capture a deadling. That's not a good decision. He should have thought about the chaos that could ensue if he died. My personal opinion is that Jon is a good human being but a not so good ruler.

It means he defines laws, chooses principles and finds compromises. He would be a bad politician too and an even worse chess player.

While I agree that Jon is a terrible and inept tactician, I think the word ruler in the common usage refers to anyone who is the head of the country in any form of non-democratic government. Jon is a ruler just not doing things that is traditionally expected of rulers. Although he is a good diplomat and can bring together people from various fractions.
