Three of the most prevalent and probably popular fictional locations in comic books finally depicted on the big screen. Which did you enjoy the most? How would you rank them? etc ... Visually, I think Wakanda edged out Atlantis just a sliver more but I think they're also both more visually interesting than Themyscira. Wonder Woman actually went on location for some of the ruins and buildings in Themyscira enhanced with CG to add additional structures, which is fine, but I didn't find it as interesting because I've seen stuff like that before in the likes of Gladiator or other Roman/Greek Mythology-inspired films. For Wakanda, what I really enjoyed were the intricate costume designs and the different African cultures that went into creating their world. They really went all out of establishing the different tribes of Wakanda. We didn't spend a whole lot of time in Atlantis in Aquaman, but I just loved the over-the-top bonkers sea life and the cinematography and color contrast that really livened the place. (The contrast of the blue and red with the first duel between Orm and Arthur is a great example.)

Wakanda and Themyscira are on same level for me. Both look perfectly fine but are not outstanding, iconic designs, ie the art design looks like dozen other similar sci fi worlds. I would not know how to describe their uniqueness and what distinguishes them. To be fair, both are character based films rather than being focused on world building. The kingdoms of Atlantis definitely sport the most iconic art design and execution (since a long time). What makes it unique is the reduced color scheme (fire-ice contrast/strong red-blue-green tones), architecture (including vehicles) and weird creatures dwelling there (including jelly fish lamps or laser sharks). I read that back ten some fanboys got clinically depressed because they could not live and visit the Avatar planet, wonder if that happened with Atlantis too.

In terms of beauty and world building I'd rank them as:
1. Atlantis 2. Wakanda 3. Themyscira
Themyscira was beautiful but there wasn't as much of it as the others.
That said, I think Asgard beats all of them.

Atlantis was the best for world-building, with Wakanda as second. Themyscira was fine, but nothing to write home about.

Atlantis certainly looks the most impressive, followed by Wakanda, but I liked the simplicity of Themyscira.

I’d probably rank Asgard in between Atlantis and Wakanda. Oh snap, forgot about Asgard! With Asgard included it would be: 1. Asgard 2. Atlantis 3. Wakanda 4. Themyscira

Atlantis... I cant breathe underwater...
Wakanda... would actually be the best option in reality, but if we're talking reality then I'm sure there would a kind of reverse racism at work and I don't need that in my life...
Themyscira... therein lies my hope... that they're not all lesbians, and that as the only man there I'd be some sort of novelty attraction... LOL!
Who wouldn't want to be surrounded by this...

Themyscira has the potential to either be heaven or hell... depending on whether all that women are interested in men or just want to kill them.

I thought Themyscira was actually the most realistic. I felt the architecture was ancient and reminiscent of Greece and mythology, and I felt a sense of the magical and mythological.
Atlantis was like Star Wars. Too sci-fi. I thought it should be a little more about magic and sea culture, less about technology. And it should look like it was undersea for as long as it was. There should be seaweed and barnacles. Some of it looked like it was straight out of the SW prequels. It looked awesome! But I didn't feel undersea all the time because of the high tech. And then when they did the Atlantis above sea flashback they had flying space ships and walker robots. Too much. Awesome! But too much.
Wakanda was the same thing. Too high tech. I know that it was supposed to be more advanced than everywhere else, but in some instances it might as well have been another planet. Force fields, mag levs, spaceships, it was a little overboard.
Both those places are supposed to be on Earth, but they might as well have been from space movies.
