There's six series within this MCU franchise. Out of all them which would you say is the worst so far? Its gotta be Ant-man right? That's a fairly mediocre one compares to the rest. Not bad movies but I'd put both in the bottom 3 of the MCU. I'd rank them as The Avengers Captain America Iron Man Guardians of the Galaxy Thor Ant-man

Probably Ant-Man as well but I like both movies. My ranking:
Avengers Captain America Guardians Thor Iron Man (IM2 is what brings it down) Ant-Man

Antman with Thor a close second. Ragnarok is the only one that felt like a proper Thor movie. The first half of Thor (2011) is quite good and the climax between him and Loki is also good. But there's a lot of fish-out-of-water filler bullshit you have to sit through.

I haven't seen Antman 2, but I am going to guess that's probably still Antman. The first one was amusing – and in no way bad – but totally disposable.

From worst to best
Thor: The first movie was good, the second was the worst movie in the entire MCU, and Ragnarok, while better than the sequel, was terrible. Iron Man: One good movie and two bad ones. The only saving grace here is Civil War which is as much Iron Man 4 as it is Captain America 3. Ant-Man: They've been inconsequential overall and I didn't like the sequel. Ant-Man needed to be in phase 1 with Hank Pym creating Ultron. If they never make Ant-Man 3 it wouldn't bother me. GotG: I liked the sequel well enough, but I thought the first movie was much better and now we may never see a third. Captain America: Solid overall. Great starting movie followed by a great sequel. Civil War was good, but I wish it had been a Captain America movie and not Avengers 2.5. The Avengers: Consistently good throughout.

Iron Man.
I didn't care for the first one. It was fine because it's Iron Man, but the MCU only got better from there in every direction.
Iron Man 2 I liked more, even though it's structurally worse, awkward pacing and it lags.
Iron Man 3 is my favorite of them and kind of a mental health awareness movie. It doesn't matter to me that many like it the least, or like the first one at the most; my brain, my senses.
His trilogy came too fast. Robert Downy Jr. is an MCU MVP who brings it with every appearance. His performance each time out is some of the best and one of the most worthwhile risks the studio took, especially at the beginning. The character and actor always kill it.
His trilogy just came too soon. His third installment happened before some all the others got their second. It works in terms of continuity and narrative because they made it, but it petered out too soon. Not only was part 3 in phase 2, it was the first movie in phase 2.
My problem with Iron Man and why I like the probably worse Iron Man 2 more is a matter of who and what's in it. I love Jeff Bridges but I thought his villain was throwaway. I don't like Jon Favreau's face so I was fine as his onscreen time went down in the others. To this day, I still don't care for Gwyneth Paltrow.
On the other hand, I love Sam Rockwell. Mickey Rourke kills me with his Russian accent and his "good to be back" line. I don't like Terrence Howard so I was nice when they brought in Don Cheadle. Scarlet Johansson's there now.
Similarly for Iron Man 3. I liked its screenplay. The 2nd act with the kid was teetering the range of tolerable but I like Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, I love Ben Kingsley; the Mandarin twist worked fine for me, but I was never attached to the character so I understand that it upset some people and I don't take any joy from that.
I don't dislike any of them or consider them bad, but the standards are just so high that something has to be the worst by default. It could still be replaced by Spiderman, who right now is safe by virtue of having only one solo outing. Spiderman: Homecoming and Iron Man are to this date the only MCU movies that I don't rush to catch whenever they're on TV. That and the Edward Norton Incredible Hulk but nobody cares about that, me included.

Iron Man is probably THE most overrated superhero film ever made.

I actually like the Ant-Man sequels, but I think the Iron Man trilogy is sadly disappointing. The first film was great. Iron Man 2 was disappointing, but enjoyable to watch. Mickey Rourke was wasted as Whiplash and there were too many storylines going on. I did like Tony Stark's subplot of finding the New Element to cure his palladium poisoning and coming to terms with his father, Howard Stark. I was even more disappointed with Iron Man 3. They ruined the Mandarin and using Aldrich Killian was no better. His motive was ripped straight from Batman Forever.

Worst to Best:
Ant-Man - I love the original, and enjoy the second, but the sequel is like a Judd Apatow comedy that seems mostly full of Paul Rudd improvisation.
Thor - Aside from the Asgard stuff in the original, Ragnarok is the only good film. The other two are bottom tier of the MCU.
Guardians of the Galaxy - The first one is awesome. The sequel craps all over the personally emotional beats with immature comedy.
Iron Man - The beginning of the MCU. Iron Man is still one of my top favorite MCU films. This would be higher if it weren't for IM2 and the ridiculous Mandarin twist in IM3.
Captain America - Not a fan of the first, not even really a fan of Civil War, but The Winter Soldier is probably the best MCU film to date. And the airport scenes in Civil War are PHENOMENAL. Probably the best scenes in the MCU.
The Avengers - Just a general fun nerdgasm of a first film, a lackluster, generic, cliche second film, but an EPIC third film.

I forgot I'd asked this. I'm surprised Iron Man has more votes than Thor.
