Any fans of the "1984" album by Van Halen? How has it held up after 35 years? While some balked at the synthesized keyboards being mixed in with Van Halen's heavy rock for songs like Jump, there are still plenty of rockin' tunes like Hot For Teacher, Panama, House of Pain, etc. It's a pretty good album and one of the band's better albums.

Big fan! Drop Dead Legs is one of my favorites from them.

I remember "I'll Wait" got a ton of airplay. I would have loved if they made a video for that song.
I'm also a fan of "Eat 'Em and Smile" over any of that boring Van Hagar crap. And that band was better than VH anyway.

The main singles off that album were a big part of my childhood. I remember seeing the videos on MTV quite a bit back then.

I clearly remember the "World Premiere" of the video for "JUMP!" on MTV ( at midnight on 1-01-84 )
