Catman loads coupons on his store card. No fuss, no muss.

That's a double sided equation.
Yes coupons can slow down a line. But that depends on the method being used. For example, if the teller is given the coupons up front and they scan them in really quick it can take about at long as it takes to scan in another grocery item or two. Not so bad.
Also, the person using the coupons is saving money and you're not, so... who's the stupid one?
But no, I don't use coupons. I cant be bothered to look for them or cut them or remember to bring them along. Talk about stupid, huh? lol

I think stupider would be writing a check for just buying a pack of breath mints.

Unless you are rich you would be stupid to not use coupons like these:

I don't know. Would you explain the difference between stupid coupons and smart ones?

Yep, I often use coupons (in addition to loading digital coupons on the store card). But I always do my own bagging, too, so I spend less time holding people up than those who just stand there and wait for the cashier to bag everything as well as scan the stuff (and then slowly write out their checks or search for their credit cards).

Are you a stupid person who posts stupid threads complaining about smart people saving money?

I think stupider would be writing a check for just buying a pack of breath mints. I’m amazed at people who still whip out the checkbook at grocery stores to buy anything. Seems outdated.

I don’t do that, but I voted yes I am stupid. So did I. It's time for us idiots to stand up and be counted.

I don't often use coupons in the grocery store, but I do for fast food. Considering the amount of idiots who wait till the last second to figure out what they want, I'm probably killing less time with my predetermined order and code entering.

Fcuk no. I'm someone who skips the cash lines altogether for self-checkout. As soon as we're able to pay in store via app, I'm there & gone also.
Woe the cashiers...? lols woe the horse & buggies.
