Which overtime rules do you think is best for both college and professional football --- start past the 50 and both teams get a chance?
Or kick off and first touchdown ends the game?

Can't have that in playoffs. Need a winner to advance.

Neither is perfect. But with the current rules in place, the NCAA system is better than the NFL system. But the NCAA system should still be improved.

Kick off and first touchdown wins - for the NFL. (I don't care much what college football does, frankly.)

4. Countback. 5. Whoever finished the regular season with the best record advances. 6. Come back the following week and go again.

A tie is a legitimate outcome to a sporting event.

You can use the fields goals whereas every player has to do it. Five/Five at first, and then "sudden death". Like in real football. Edit: To get an better idea: The team with balls is more likely to win...ergo: a given for the Pats at any time.

NFL - Rules, but 2-pointer required.
If OT points tied 6-6 or 8-8, alternate possessions in a 2-point play "shootout. Maybe that's from the 5 or 10 yard line instead of the 2.

I think college rules are best. Kicking off and driving the field is too much of a waste of time.
