have not seen, do you recommend? I watched the first to prepare for a role. Honestly works as a comedy.

No. I'd rather watch American Psycho anyway.

Well only for the fact that we'll no longer see Dakota Johnson naked.

I saw the first one and wondered at times if they weren't trying to pull off a funny interpretation: as if the film were a soap opera entry from a parallel universe where leaving waffle marks on the beloved's backside were just normal everyday behavior.
It seemed like a "no sex" sex film, as required by the film production rules of the parallel universe.

No. I never watched them but I have friends who did that liked the novels and hated the movies 'cause they were too watered down and wouldn't even show the actor's penis whereas they had no problem showing Dakota Johnson naked. For movie franchise based on a novel series for hetero women it seems it was catered more towards hetero male viewers who enjoyed seeing Dakota but were insecure over seeing another man's penis in case it was bigger than theirs..

I never read the books but yeah the movies felt hypocritical by showing only the female parts during the love scenes in an erotic series for WOMEN. It is also a bit sexist come to think of it. I haven’t seen the last one.

Universal wisely chose not split the final book of a trilogy into two movies. Thank goodness.

I haven’t seen the last one. Yeah. Hollywood seems to have a problem when it comes to showing penises and vaginas and they will show heaps of blood and gore in their movies but will rarely ever show those two things. It was very hypocritical in this case especially since '50 Shades of Grey' was meant to be an erotic movie made for ADULTS and if it was a movie for all ages I could see why it would be a problem but when it is a movie for adults there is no reason why the actor couldn't flash it for a while. I mean most of us have seen guy's private parts and I saw them when I dated guys and it shouldn't be a big deal when they have actresses showing their boobs all the time.

My wife read all the books in like a 3 week time period (no joke). But she refused to see the movies. I care nothing for this type of stuff that they used to show late night on Cinemax.

I couldn't be more indifferent. Though I do feel a little sorry for fans of the franchise.

I had no idea it was over. Seemed like it was popular about as long as Pokémon Go.
