"....because in general... liberals are most opposed to Jesus Christ where as conservatives tend to be more inline with His teaching when it comes to moral political views, especially in key moral areas like abortion etc. because like I always say, once a political party fails to get that one right, which is a basic life issue and NOT a "choice", they will be backwards in many other moral areas and that's what's happening...."
I don't remember what Jesus taught about abortion. Perhaps you can cite the scriptures where He talked about this? I also do not remember Jesus talking about politics except rendering unto Caesar what is his....
It has been debated whether Jesus was more liberal or conservative. His thoughts on helping poor people seem to not be the "let them fend for themselves" sort of talk that often comes from conservatives of today.

those pilgrims with the proliferating parlance of platitudes
escaping one form of tyranny just so you can propagate your very own brand of sorcery based on what isn't even the novelty of a god son dichotomy would be borderline funny but for the millions of human hearts left pillaged and torn apart just so you can fart as if you had the starring part in a rose parade of maimed horses dragging far too many wheel-less carts.
sjw 01/31/19 inspired at this very moment in time by the pillar and the post and the scourging we love the most.

Isn't it a regional thing in America? Areas like New York which are more like Europe will decline but I doubt there's much difference in middle rural areas where it's almost the hub of the community. If you grow up and are indoctrinated in a way of life by your parents and everyone else thinks the same and remain in the are you are less likely to think for yourself. Just another cult at the end of the day.

If you make time series analysis of rural areas then you are likely to find decline in religion even in rural areas through the decades. I read an article sometime back about empty churches in rural areas. That said, still rural area has significantly more concentration of religious people.
