A- I probably watched it way too much in the 90's, had to step back from it a few years to really appreciate again. Excellent soundtrack, really well edited with the film's sequences.

I think the funniest comedy of the 1990s.
For some crazy reason they decided to release an unrated version on blu ray with deleted scenes added in, which should have stayed deleted.
Or at least have an option for the theatrical.

👎🏻 Never watched this back in the day because it didn't look funny, decided to give it a go on Hulu and there were a couple of mildly amusing moments, but I didn't find it funny or entertaining. Obviously it was a very popular movie, but it's just not my kind of comedy.

A-
I probably watched it way too much in the 90's, had to step back from it a few years to really appreciate again. Excellent soundtrack, really well edited with the film's sequences. Yep, I did watch the heck out it, back in winter/spring of 1998, when my dad picked up the VHS, and to my surprise, when I later purchased it on DVD, several of the scenes from the VHS tape, was missing or taken out, and then I ended up with a Director s Cut, which was even more confusing, not sure what the hell went on with all these different releases, and why some were taken out, while others stayed. Not even sure who is considered the original cut, as there seems to be so many one out there. For me, the Norwegian 1995 VHS tape, (picked up in 1997-98), that is the one I feel is the most complete one. And why I prefer it, instead of the later DVD versions. Also yeah, the Farrelly brothers sure had a way of picking some great and very melodic and fitting songs and music into their films. Dumb and Dumber and later on Kingpin (1996) both had this combination of feel good and yet, kind of sad/serios theme over the score/soundtrack part, and I only wished the Todd Rundgren instrumentals would be released in complete versions. All in all, this film I believe is Jim Carrey at the top of his game, even though I would like to say that he probably did even better in The Cable Guy (1996), but as a film, Dumb and Dumber is hard to beat. A solid 8,5/10 rating.
