Even though I liked him alright in Solo, probably not. First off we already did the idea of a young Indiana Jones almost 30 years ago. . If it were up to me, I'd just retire the Indiana Jones character in live action and opt for an animated series instead. That Jungle Cruise movie that is coming out sounds like it could have franchise potential and if they were smart, they could had cast Chris Pratt in that as diet Indiana Jones. But I'm sure the Rock will do fine in the lead as is. Hindsight, it's a bitch.

There actually is an actor who was on a single episode of VAMPIRE DIARIES and he was in a couple war movies, who looks eerily like a young Harrison Ford. He also bears the last name Ford, but I doubt anyone would hire him.

Heck yeah, him. Honestly, with the hair cut right, the outfit/whip, and the fedora - you could turn him into a 30-some year old Ford.

Has Disney expressed any interest in continuing the franchise beyond the upcoming fifth installment?

Has Disney expressed any interest in continuing the franchise beyond the upcoming fifth installment? Not publicly but you know they've thought about it. If it were up to me, I'd not try to reboot the franchise and just come up with something else. Like that Jungle Cruise movie coming out in 2020.

No. Although he was fine enough in Solo, one will probably have to think of something better.

Yeah, cause even trying to reboot a Young Indy series mightn't go over so well, considering who played the young Indy J. in the original.

I fear Ehrenreich may become the next Taylor Kitsch and not reappear in a big budget film ever again.
