The sequel to Brad Pitt's zombie movie that became an unexpected blockbuster is reportedly not moving forward. I liked the first movie alright when I first saw it. But then I read the book and realized how watered down the enterprise was. A miniseries would had been so better.
IMO zombies are just played out . I mean come on, The freaking Walking Dead already has a spin off show ,also there are tons of zombie films out there already and the 1st WWZ film with Pitt wasn't that "great" to begin with . I just think David Fincher is too damn good/talented to be wasting his time with that sequel .

A good movie would work imho, but Walking Bad ist simply a bad show, a boring drag with only two tropes (functional psychos, or dysfunctional groups who lost it).
We never had a show how a civilization fights successfully through such a zombie apocalypse, and how it rebuilds itself afterwards.
Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

Agreed. I mean, I'd watch David Fincher direct traffic, but World War Z 2 is still kinda slumming it.
Fincher needs to adapt both 20,000 leagues and Black Hole please. he needs to then direct perhaps Devil in White City if schedule and studio permits perhaps.

Definitely the last one. I’m not sure who’d be a fit for Captain Nemo though these days.
Bad news for the nine people who were anticipating this film.
I saw the first one in theaters and liked it, but I've completely forgotten about it. It just wasn't memorable enough to garner enough interest in a sequel all this time later.
