If they really want to impress me, make a live action Black Cauldron.

I really hope that this doesn't happen.
Not every film needs to be remade or giving a sequel. The original film is fine by itself.
If this actually happens I hope it ends up being a massive box office bomb.

If they played it straight w/o any bullshit steampunk/superhero shit that every swashbuckler film acts like they need nowadays, they might actually make a solid film series based off the Arthurian stories. Like have a main plot about him getting Excalibur then establishing the Round Table and founding Camelot. Later he meets Guinevere and we see him and the Knights battling villains like Morgan Le Fay and Modred. Other characters like Lancelot or Gawain or Merlin can have their side quests.

While I agree with your thoughts I think Disney plan on remaking all of their animated movies into live action movies and I have already heard there are plans for at least another 20 others and some I am looking forward to like 'The Little Mermaid', 'The Rescuers', 'The Fox and the Hound', 'The Aristocats',Pocahontas', 'The Lady and the Tramp', 'The Great Mouse Detective' and 'Lilo & Stitch' and I would love to see them remake '101 Dalmatians' again 'cause I wasn't a fan of the previous live action movies. In the animated movies the focus was on the Dalmatians and they talked and the live action movie focused on the humans and it was dark and violent and a lot of fans of the animated movies didn't like them. I would rather see them made like the 'Buddies' movies and Disney own those and Air Bud and they should let them adapt a '101 Dalmatians' live action movie.

Disney seems to like their writers to stick closely to the original films. I think Cinderella was the best live action so far. It stayed true to the story, but added just enough for it to be fresh and interesting. I'd love to see that with Arthur.

That is unnecessary and just wouldn't look right without excessive amounts of CGI.
