The spin off of the "Bad Boys" movie franchise starring Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba will premier on May 13th. It will be on the Spectrum On Demand service (IDK, I guess you have to be a Spectrum customer to get it?).

Look, I don't find the BAD BOYS movies entertaining, but they're so preposterous that they're hard to forget. The pilot for this made my jaw drop in how generic and forgettable it was. I assumed the whole show would be like that. Was it the case? Yes and no. There wasn't a single episode were the case of the week kept my interest. However, when half the season was over, I realized that I was quite invested in the ongoing personal conflicts, and it remained that way until the season finale. Jessica Alba has proven that she has talent from time to time, though not as often as she should, which is why a lot of critics and viewers don't treat her very seriously. Here, she and most of her co-stars give good performances, and they play off each other very well.

Well my Mom enjoyed it. She'll be happy for season 2. She's a huge fan of the "NCIS" shows and "Blue Bloods". She enjoyed "Lethal Weapon" too. I only watched bits and pieces but it had that type of vibe.

I still haven't finished season 2. In the meantime, they've just announced that the show has been cancelled.

I still haven't finished season 2. I finished. My overall thoughts were the same ones as with season 1: Look, I don't find the BAD BOYS movies entertaining, but they're so preposterous that they're hard to forget. Some more thoughts: -All episodes are named after a movie produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. I know he produced this show too, but it's weird. Some of the titles don't really connect to the plot unless you grasp at straws. They clearly didn't know how to use the title KANGAROO JACK, so they said "Screw it. Let's write an episode where that's the name of a drug." RAFFERTY AND THE GOLD DUST TWINS is where they got lazy with this concept, because a character straight up mentions the movie. -During the first half of this season, Izzy was so bratty that I didn't want to see her arcs. Luckily, that changed during the second half, culminating in a sad story development (during the last 2 episodes) that I honestly didn't see coming.
