I posted this on General Discussion as well. I love this film, and it isn't well known. I also watched both My Bloody Valentine films, and prefer the 1981 version.

Never seen or heard of it. My favourite would be My Bloody Valentine (2009). The original is good too though.

It's gotta be Dracula for me. It was released on St. Valentine's Day, 1931, and it kicked off the horror cycle 88 years ago.
Another Gothic horror worth remembering, and a tale of undying love: The Mummy (1932); not a VD release; for horror fans it may as well have been.
Both of the aforementioned have similar plots, and the second has been called an unofficial remake of the first. I can see the similarities there, but they look and play quite differently.

Spring is not a perfect film by any stretch, but in sheer audacity and inventiveness I have a great affection for that movie. It's also gorgeous to look at, due to the lead actress as well as the setting and cinematography.

I have wanted to see this ever since October! I watched The Endless and in the commentary track Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead mention this movie a fair bit. It's their sophmore movie effort. One of their parents reverse mortgaged the house so that they could make it. That's mainly how they got funds and budget. That location looks beautiful. Nadia Hilker is on The Walking Dead now. I highly recomend The Endless. It's about the bond and sometimes issues brothers share, a UFO cult, ancient Lovecraftian type dark gods and time loops. And Shitty Dave .
Moorhead & Benson are a talented writing/directing pair and make the most out of small budgets and locations. I'm intetested in any project these guys do.
After I get a couple Marvel movies and Troll Hunter watched I'll rent Spring.
