batman-news.com/2019/02/08/shazam-long-range-tracking-points-to-45m-opening/The first Shazam! box office forecast calls for another solid opening for DC Films. Box Office Pro has the film opening at $45M, though it could land anywhere between $40M and $60M. That'd be decent I guess. Apparently the budget was only $80-90 million so it doesn't need to make the same kind of money as Aquaman or most these other superhero movies. Still that'd be the lowest opening for a live action Marvel/DC movie since Fantastic Four.

I was surprised at how smaller the budget was given how WB usually throw everything except the kitchen sink into their movies (except BVS which had a literal sink!). Unless things go spectacularly wrong, it may turn a better profit than CM.

If it can have a minimum total of $100 million the second weekend, we should be fine throughout Endgame
