Offhand, I can only think of one: ZOO IN BUDAPEST, a 1933 movie starring Loretta Young. Are there any others?
Somewhat OT: I'm impressed by the progress made in these parks, with animals no longer confines to cages or pits, but roaming in areas most close to their natural inhabitats. Viewers look at them from interior enclosures, such as monorails. Now, if only big game hunting was outlawed throughout Africa!

Zoo in BudapestFlamboyant Zani grew up and works in the zoo. He loves animals so much that he steals animal furs from the women who wear them. Zani coaxes young beautiful Eve, an orphan, to escape her caretakers while on a group visit to the zoo. Dr. Grunbaum, the zoo director, is forced to organize a search party to capture both Zani and Eve. Zani proves too elusive and harbors Eve in a bear cave. However, when evil zookeeper Heinie discovers them, he draws the authorities' attention to their hideout...
Has anyone here heard of this film ? Has anyone here seen this film ? Is there any reason to remember seeing this film ? Not saying there isn't ^^^ just curious. There are 15 viewer reviews on IMDb about it and most of them seemed to have liked it.

Honky Tonk Freeway (1981) dir: John Schlesinger is about a small town conniving to get an exit built from the new freeway under construction into the town to increase footfall in its only economic advantage, its safari park. I was not impressed when I caught it on TV thirty years ago, but the current lead review in IMDb has intrigued me, so I may give it another go. Probably the only movie to include a water-skiing elephant.

Fierce Creatures (1997) dir: Fred Schepisi and Robert Young was intended as follow-up to "A Fish Called Wanda" (again starring Cleese/Kline/Curtis/Palin) but it largely flopped. It concerns a small English zoo fighting the effects of an American corporate takeover.

Wasn't Life of Pi (2012) about in an zookeeper's son?
In Cat People (1942) the zoo is central to the story.
How about Bringing Up Baby (1938) where a zoo leopard is mistaken for a pet leopard?

I’d say that this one should come close enough to qualify as a zoo related movie. Zebra In The Kitchen (1965).This one features Dennis The Menace, and über cutie, Karen Green.

A chunk of Brewster McCloud is shot at the Houston Zoo. Unfortunately I can't find a good screen cap of any of the sequences outside of this lobby card... This movie was filmed in 1970, but I remember this bird house as a kid, it was still about the same (circa early 1980's). It's changed a lot now, but the main layout of the zoo is still about the same even though the habitats are much more animal friendly.

Its status as a "classic film" is subject to some debate, but Dragnet '87 is one of my guilty pleasures. The zany plot is a satire on the old Jack Webb series. Joe Friday (Dan Ackroyd) and Pep Streebeck (Tom Hanks), are called to the Los Angeles Zoo to investigate a theft, and animal tampering.
