I wonder what fellow TZ fans think of this ride—has anyone else ridden it at Disney World? By far one of my favorite rides there. (Courtesy of YouTube, I’ve actually “spoken” with Mark Silverman, who does the Rod Serling impression here. He’s a really nice guy with immense admiration for Serling. And the illusion—with footage of Serling from “It’s a Good Life” interspersed with the new footage, but with Silverman’s voice dubbing Serling at all times—is excellent, don’t you think?) The level of detail and immersion, and the designers’ obvious love for The Twilight Zone, are wonderful. I didn’t realize until I read this site how many references there are—and the [possibly unintentional] similarities to “The After Hours” in particular, as that site points out, are very interesting: So the ride’s even more TZ-y than I thought! Unfortunately, Disney scrapped the ride in California, which is very disappointing. Let’s hope they don’t ever get rid of it in Florida… It simultaneously evokes the magic and mystery of the ’30s and of The Twilight Zone, and I hope we as a society never lose our taste for those. What say you?

I've ridden it about 20 times. Love it. Never gets old since the drop pattern is randomly selected by a computer. Even waiting in the queue they have episode objects on display.
