For Whom the Bell Tolls by John Donne
No man is an island, Entire of itself. Each is a piece of the continent, A part of the main. If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less. As well as if a promontory were. As well as if a manor of thine own Or of thine friend's were. Each man's death diminishes me, For I am involved in mankind. Therefore, send not to know For whom the bell tolls, It tolls for thee.

Carrie Fisher followed the next day by her mom, Debbie Reynolds, who suffered a fatal stroke right after saying "I want to be with Carrie." It's as though she willed herself to die so that she could be with her daughter.

I created a thread for him, but Jan Michael Vincent passed away today. I was shocked that he was 74! I remember watching him in Airwolf and his stuntman tribute film, Hooper with Burt Reynolds. He seemed so young back then. Guess I'm getting old.

The earlier reports didn't mention that he actually died back on 2/10.

Probably Andy Hallett (Lorne from the TV series Angel). We have another Angel fan in the house! I was lucky enough to meet Andy on the Slayer Cruise on the Zuiderdam in 2005. I recognized him right away before anyone noticed him. He was very humble and couldn't be more gracious. It really stunned me too to learn he died only four years later. Taken from Wikipedia, the insanely random for why he died at 33: According to a 2005 interview, about a month after filming the last episode of Angel, Hallett suffered a dental infection which spread through the bloodstream to his heart, leading to a case of cardiomyopathy, for which he spent five days in the hospital. Although he recovered, his heart muscle and valves were weakened and he found himself easily fatigued afterward. He did not return to acting (except for a voice part in the animated film Geppetto's Secret), but pursued his music career and frequently appeared at media conventions for Buffy and Angel and for science fiction and fantasy in general.Five years after first experiencing heart problems, and after at least three additional hospitalizations, Hallett died from congestive heart failure on March 29, 2009 at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles with his father by his bedside. He was 33 years old.

I was sad about the death of June Whitfield but hardly shocked, she was 92 after all. But some people you just want to live forever, and she was one of them.
