So it gets a thumbs up from me, but barely. And it kind of sucks that Marvel has their own Superman. I mean. What are her weaknesses?
And Larson's performance was so bland and boring. Her Captain Marvel character could have been played by any actress.
Oh. And the final battle wasn't thrilling at all. The one before she stopped the bad guy. Also it was so stupid how Nick Fury damaged his eye. I was hoping it would be a story where he lost it in a fight or something like that. Not how he "comically" did.

Sure. She did a good job since she seemed real, but she was just so average. As in she brought nothing special to the performance.

A mediocre film at best with an incoherent plot, stupid on the nose jokes and feminist talking points and a Mary Sue of a lead who is an emotionless warrior-hero. I mean when the fight scenes were happening they were entertaining enough but Captain Marvel as a whole to me is the worst MCU film since Thor: The Dark World.

I saw it today and I loved it! Probably not a top 10 superhero movie, top of my head rating would be in no particular order
Dark Knight
CA Civil War
CA Winter Soldier
X-2
Days Of Future Passed
Infinity War
Deadpool
Logan
Iron Man
Wonderwoman
It's a hard list and it would probably change every time I thought of it but ld put CM in my next 10

Goose proved exgreme intelligence and loyalty and ability to strategize before. he had No Reason to lash out like that. 3. wouldnt you be a bit upset with him since he cost you an eye for NO reason?! Fury acted like it was all ok, just a minor annoyance or something. Aaargh. I did like their thread level evaluating scene thiugg.

I loved the chemistry of Jackson and Larson they deserve a better movie as well.

the beginning was quite boring, but it got more interesting once it moved to earth. I liked the cat best.
