Don't you have to finish a movie to get paid? not really. i mean ideally you should, but its different per critic and media outlet. some people are paid with flat fee, so it doesnt really matter what movie they do or dont see, some per article published some per article written. good critic will stay till the end. but many leave before the end some in the middle and i have even seen them leave as early as 20 minutes in. And they still write a review about it. And some sleep through it. Thats not my practice. I love the movies. And the cinematic experience. With passion. So I see everything that gets released each week because I want to, for myself. Most movies I stay till the end and some of those I then review.

As a sci-fi / comic book stuff junkie, I had very high expectations for this movie... and it exceeded all of them because it's a phenomenal movie. ^^^This, especially in the midst of all of the male snowflakes/trolls crying against this movie.

You have said stuff like this before. I thought you were a critic? ....and? Don't mind him. He's filled with rage. He even hates Ackbars. Can you believe that?!

No it was amazing. The first half of the movie keeps jumping from 1 place to another place Wow the story had multiple locations? Imagine that... and is just a disjointed and convoluted mess. It wasn't disjointed nor convoluted. It was smooth and elegant. Brie Larson's performance is wooden and robotic. No she's actually very likeable. She's a professional soldier that takes her mission and potential threats seriously but aside from that she does show a lot of personality, particularly as she regains her memories. And there's no character development or personality to the Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel character. She changed allegiances as she regained her memories and learned more about her allies and enemies and realized each was the opposite of what she had been told for six years. You're just a boring troll and hater making up garbage. Get a fucking life.

I have since learned that he made that post without having yet seen the movie.

this movie was not disappointing to me
i think all mcu films are bad to average, maybe i just have lowered expectations to enjoy a mediocre film to some.
Up next is End Game that will likely retcon anything interesting from Infinity War.

So if you didn't finish something, you don't review it?

So if you didn't finish something, you don't review it? 99% thats the case but there has been a movie or two where i did leave about 10-20 minutes before the end and I reviewed it (Vvitch is one I can recall) but in such case I openly say it in my review, and also indicate where I left and why. thats a rule for me. And its not like I leave because I have something better to do. I either leave because I cant stand the movie for some reason and then I usually dont even review it, or I leave even though I think the movie is great but I jusy mentally cannot take it anymore (like The VVitch).
