Saw it. Awful movie. The first half of the movie keeps jumping from 1 place to another place and is just a disjointed and convoluted mess. Brie Larson's performance is wooden and robotic. And there's no character development or personality to the Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel character.

It was very straight forward. How did you not understand the story? Granted Larson was kinda wooden and yes she was kind of a Mary Sue

You're a joke. Keep quiet and let the grown-ups talk.

BTW, I saw the movie. it's very good. The first half is disjointed and confusing if you're not used to paying attention and are easily distracted by shiny objects. Brie Larson gave a wonderful performance of a stoic warrior who is forced to repress her emotions. There's a lot of character development, as Carol learns who she is and comes to trust Fury, and learn the truth about those she considers allies and enemies.
Plus it made me very nostalgic for the 1990s. I loved all the pop references and the use of music. This is one of my favorite soundtracks for a movie.
It also had a great tribute to Stan Lee in the title logo. I got teary eyed and I heard someone else in the theater sniffle.

Sad thing is you probably didn't even formulate that statement yourself, just stole it from someone else you mentally incompetent sack of crap.
If you want to reiterate your own point then do so in atleast a new manner for fuck sake.

I get tempted to but I am like 97% sure DC-Fan is just a failed troll bot AI hence why he literally repeats himself word for word in every argument, and I just cant wait for the day his trolling breaks the limits of his programming and he short circuits, should be a fun day.

Ha! That's what I was thinking. He's like one of those guys who hate the new Star Wars films, does nothing but complain about them, but is always there on opening day.

We are going to see it when it comes out on Foxtel and DVD @red. I am looking forward to seeing it and have heard it is supposed to be good but as some members already know on here we never go to see superhero movies at the cinemas. I love seeing how successful it has been despite all the tantrums and boycotts the sexists have been throwing online and they have found out just how little power they have over the success of a movie.

That's the funny thing, people make a fuss over the "backlash" but it's so minimal it's laughable, I mean the most popular video on the whole controversy & backlash on YT is only at 2m views, I mean the lowest/newest trailers for the film from Marvel's YT is almost a million alone.
Even if EVERY person who watched the most popular anti-brie video boycotted the film that's just $20m, that's nothing for Marvel, they pay Downey that for a fucking cameo.
That being said I still found Brie's comments poorly made, but I got her point, I still think would Brie have had the charm of a Gal Gadot she would have got away with it.
Oh and I wont be seeing this in the cinema either, im waiting for the home release because they cost me the same fucking amount, and that way I to watch it as often or as little as I like, plus no annoying shitheads in front or behind me obnoxiously laughing or commenting on the movie...only I get to do that.
