Monday - Workday Tuesday - Not-as-bad-day Wednesday - Stuck-in-the-middle-day Thursday - Almost-there-day Friday - Funday Saturday - Breakday Sunday - Doomday
Otherwise, no. I’m fine with the way they’re named for the most part.

Just rename Wednesday "Humpday" already.

Yes, and they should be named as follows: Sunday = Sundae (You may, or may not like Sundays, but who DOESN'T like Sundaes ??) Monday = Tuesday (Because, of course, EVERYBODY hates Mondays, so this neatly takes care of THAT little "problem" !!) Tuesday = 2sday (Because you can't have TWO Tuesdays.......DUH !!!) Wednesday = Humping Day (Admit it, we ALL could use a weekly reminder to have at least ONE day a week for some fun !!) Thursday = Thirsty Thursday (Doesn't REALLY change it, just 'Dresses it up', a bit!) Friday = Meat Day (Meaning: NO Fish Allowed Day!) Sorry...........just the (ex) Catholic angst in me, I guess! Saturday = Saturday (Obviously, NO change needed......who hates Saturdays ??) SAVE FERRIS

Nah.
I like having our days named mostly after Norse gods. It's kinda badass.

Should the days of the week be renamed? For any reason? No. There is enough calendar confusion as it is. For example, there are some people out there still using the Julian Calendar.

They should be numbered Day One thru Day Seven. In Portuguese the weekdays are numbered second through sixth.

In Portuguese the weekdays are numbered second through sixth. That's odd. I actually don't like that idea. It's almost Orwellian.
It dates back to the middle ages, when a Catholic bishop figured that it was blasphemous to use the names of Roman gods (which is what other Latin languages do) for the days of the week.

I suppose pointlessly changing something just "because" is getting popular these days. No doubt some racist old white man is responsible for the days of the week being named the way they are or something.

Not really, I was just being flippant. Everyday is the same to me, I don't often know what a weekend is. You don’t go out during the week?
