It seems humans have been drawing history for quite a while before that. Do you think God was unable to have created humans before 4000BC?

Ps... I'm a Catholic, you are wrong to say that Christians believe the world is 6,000 years old... It's circa 4.6 billion years old. US fundos might believe your shite, but they're fucked in the head. I believe he's actually Scottish, not too far from where you're at What?...That's like when I thought that the French guy next to us was a Mexican and my landlord said he would probably beat you up if you say that to his face. Cody is pure and unadulterated English man....he even posted how his DNA has almost negligible Asian component.

Maybe her background was Scottish, but I could have sworn she was from New Zealand Yes, she was from NZ (Aukland) but her parents were English but they were still somewhat of Scottish Heritage. She often described her affiliation as Anglo-Catholic. Though she was known for contradicting herself and so sometimes called herself Universalist too and that gave guys more ammunition.

He said US fundos believe that "shite". Few European Christians ascribe to the idea that the Earth is 6000 years old. That's a backwoods idea among fundamentalist American hillbillies. … and it seems @cody

Apologies everyone... but this is the most ridiculous thing even Cody has come out with... I was tested and found wanting.

I would struggle to find anyone at our church who thinks the world is only 6,000 years old. I once had an evangelical try to tell me that dinosaurs never even existed, and that the devil put fake fossils in the ground to try and confuse us... How he kept a straight face saying that I don't know 🤷

Quoted for truth and to tag Cody™ , who apparently missed it. Or maybe it's not a coincidence that he chooses to ignore posts that refute his ridiculous points...

I find it odd how Evolutionists claim man has been evolving for millions of years and as modern humans we’ve been around for about 200,000 years. Yet there is no recorded history stretching further than 6000 years which coincidentally enough is how long many Christians believe the bible dates as the beginning of mankind. We have no writings, no battles, no wars, no countries, no carved stones, no nothing. If human evolution is true then surely it would be traceable far beyond 4000bc. There was no writing before 6 thousand years ago. Writing had not been invented yet. Abstract. Writing – a system of graphic marks representing the units of a specific language – has been invented independently in the Near East, China and Mesoamerica. The cuneiform script, created in Mesopotamia, present-day Iraq, ca. 3200 BC, was first.Jan 25, 2014 sites.utexas.edu/dsb/tokens/the-evolution-of-writing/

There is no written histories before Cuneiform, because nobody knew how to write. There is plenty of record of pre-cineiform humanity, and evolution. Grow up why don't you 👍 So modern humans have been around for 200,000 years but it took them 197,000 years to invent the system of writing? Okay then. There was no real need to write for most of human history. The earliest writings are generally to do with maintaining financial records so completely unnecessary before the advent of complex civilization.

Scientists have many questions about human history pre 6 thousand years ago. A written history would not only help today's scientists, it would have helped humanity pre 6 thousand years ago.

I think you misunderstand me. I'm not saying writings from pre 4000 BC wouldn't be helpful to us today, I mean for the people at the time they didn't see any practical need to write things down until they had to deal with things like tax etc

I wouldn't say no need as in it wouldn't have proved useful even earlier. But less crucial and less a priority than in more modern times.

In other words, people were relatively stupid back then.
