And if so (and don't mind sharing), what is your race ?? SAVE FERRIS Nope. The few times I have been harassed by the cops I deserved it. I would not even call it harassed. They were just doing their jobs.

Borderline, but not fully harassed. I have pointed out their behavior on a couple occasions and they actually became more cool afterwards.

Of course if the police talk to you its always "undeserved" and "harassment". Usually coming from people who were breaking the law and didn't like getting caught or at least questioned.
White male, I don't break the law so shockingly the police leave me alone.

Not really. I haven't had much interaction with law enforcement other than traffic stops, and on those occasions I always thought I was treated fairly - sometimes even being let go with just a warning.
There was one time at Los Angeles airport when Delta Airlines screwed me and I got angry and raised my voice, and the agent called the airport cops on me. They gave me a bit of a hard time, took down my information, and that was the end of it.

And if so (and don't mind sharing), what is your race ?? SAVE FERRIS I "look" white, so no. I have been pulled over though. But I imagine my treatment during said events would be different if I were "dark".

I've been stopped a half dozen times. I was mildly bending/breaking the law 4 times-- twice the police were polite and friendly. The other 2 times as well as the 2 times I wasn't doing anything wrong the police were gruff, accusatory, rude and condescending. One of the times they were both sitting in their car at the time another car drove up going the other direction, rolled down his window and asked if they needed help! Why would 2 cops sitting in their car need help from 2 other cops? So 67% of the time cops have been dicks to me, a white male.

Once I was stopped because a cop thought my lights were off. I showed him they weren't and he let me go. I don't know if you'd call that harassment or what.
Another time my mom and I were stopped for not signalling a lane change, which according to The Hate U Give and people who have seen it, is bullsh*t, so there's that.
Once I was just chilling in my car and some neighborhood watch must have reported me and a cop showed up. He gave me a citation because my car was running (I had literally just started it to leave) and I didn't have my proof of insurance on me, something he could have just looked up if he didn't want to be an assh*le. FWIW, he was black and I'm white.

And if so (and don't mind sharing), what is your race ?? SAVE FERRIS yes. white female. but not in this country. here the coos are lovely to me (but I am still quite scared of them and move very slowly around them and am super careful when pulled over). But that may be the result of the horror stories from. the mass media on this topic. And I am sure other ethnicities have it much harder here in this regard, even if its just their subjective feeling of fear.

I'm a white male and I've had a few "interesting" interactions with the police over the years, but I feel they were mainly due to misunderstandings rather than undeserved harassment... For example, there was the night when a mate and I was apparently tracked across a large section of the state and finally surrounded and pull over by a sizable contingent of the state police force. The fact that I didn't own the car and that it seemed to contain several questionable items, such as a handgun, stocking masks and a couple of pairs of overalls probably didn't help matters... Of course, it was all an honest misunderstanding...

White male. About 98% of the times I’ve had contact with law enforcement, they acted in a professional manner. But once in a while you get a cop with a stick up his ass.
Swedish customs in Helsingborg grabbed my friend and me by the arms and pulled us out of the crowd and took us to a room where we were ordered to strip down to our underwear. We cooperated fully while about eight of them were standing there watching. They searched through our clothing and wallets as they interrogated us. So when they saw there was nothing to be found, they started drifting away in ones and twos. I think they were disappointed. We stood there with two of them, nobody saying anything for about 20 more minutes. It was the winter solstice and I was freezing. Finally I asked “may we get dressed and go now?” One of them says “oh, yes.” There was no “you can leave” or “sorry” or “thank you for your cooperation.” We only had a few hours to sightsee. I just wonder how long they would’ve made us stand there without telling us we could leave.
I’ve met several London bobbies and they’re always polite, helpful and diplomatic. One year I was there with a young couple I knew. We started walking away from the palace across a grassy expanse of land. This was December and there was no one within a hundred yards of us. Jimmy got something caught in his throat so he coughed it up and spit it out on the grass and dirt. We took a few more steps and heard someone yelling. Two bobbies were running towards us with one of them yelling for us to stop. It was a man and a woman It didn’t take long to realize the woman was a trainee. She said nothing but looked embarrassed as her partner launched into a tirade about the spitting. He informed us it was a royal park although there were no signs, benches, statues, etc. He then threatened to haul all three of us before a royal magistrate, which I thought was funny because Liz and I had done nothing. I understand some Americans have an uncouth habit of frequently spitting. But Jimmy isn’t an habitual spitter. He was apologetic and pleaded ignorance. The bobby acted as if he were doing us a big favor by letting us go "this time". I thought maybe he was bluffing, but when I'm in a foreign country, I don’t argue with the cops.

Not really. I've only ever been pulled over for speeding and "exhibition of speed" when I was a teenager and early 20's. One police officer said they were watching me and that hopped up musclecar when I was pulled over once after doing a burnout at a stop sign. I guess that was sort of harassment.
White male.
