The upcoming Black Adam film will launch the Golden Age team of older DC heroes by including Hawkman and Atom Smasher. There's additional speculation that a Doctor Fate movie is in the works too. Surely, this can't be true because WB swore off crossover films.

If true, I’m excited for it. Could be an interesting direction for the WB/DCEU to go. Also, I think WB should think twice before swearing off crossover films. It makes sense that they’d just want to do solo films for the JL members. But I think in theory certain crossovers/spinoffs could work if handled correctly.

I'm confused, what exactly is The Justice Society? Basically it's similar to the Justice League but it features more classic Golden Age DC heroes like Sandman, Hawkman, Spectre, Starman, Wildcat, the earliest versions of Flash and Green Lantern, Shazam, plus a few recognizable characters like the DC trinity. A lot of characters created by Gardner Fox are included.

This sounds like a good idea. However the word "planning" should used very carefully when it comes to the DCEU.

I hope, like Wonder Woman (2017), it takes place in the past. In fact it could even co-star Wonder Woman. That would be a plus for me!

Honestly , at this point I just want stand alone franchises and little to no character crossovers . For example, I NEVER want to see Batman team up with a bunch of other super heroes . He excels at working alone and we get better movies because of it.

I'm confused, what exactly is The Justice Society? The Justice Society of America was created in 1940 and was the first superhero team in American comics.
