I looked much younger. I looked about 10 when I graduated high school. Being 4'5" and about 77 or 78 pounds then was a big part of it.

In elementary and high school people would give me 2-3 years older than I was, in part because I was tall. Somehow, as I got in college and university it seems that people thought I was younger than I actually was. Even today, people still would give me a few years younger but I don't have a baby face. Guess that my body grew older but not my mentality.

I look about a decade younger than I should.
It's hard to say when I was a kid. I think I looked average. I never heard anything about it then.

I've always looked younger. I still do. I remember when I was about 20 and I met my brother's then-girlfriend for the first time, she heard someone ask me something about my car. She was shocked that I had a car because she thought I was 12.

Younger, and I still do. I am now 34 and I could easily be mistaken for early-mid 20s.

I looked my age early on, but then decided to stop growing.

Once Catman's beard came in, everyone thought he was in his twenties.

Older as a young teen since I was almost as tall as I am now.
But it seems my aging slowed down since I am mistaken for years younger at 29.

Once Catman's beard came in, everyone thought he was in his twenties. Of course you've had an advantage over most of the rest of us... You've had nine goes at getting it right. Although speaking as a former Whovian, I had thirteen chances myself.

I always looked younger. This didn't serve me well until my 20s. Now I'm cashing in on it.

I looked my age until chemo, which made me look like an alien - no hair, no eyebrows, almost starved - very disconcerting. After my hair grew back, I looked younger than my age. I've always had long hair, so I think that made me look younger just because as other women aged, they tended to cut their hair. My Dad's side of the family had great skin, which I inherited; my older friend has always been jealous of my still-smooth face.

I would imagine I look younger than my age (ill be 40 later this year) as I don't think it's a stretch for people to see me as roughly early 30's or so but those days of passing as early-to-mid 20's are pretty much gone for years now as I would say, at best, I 'might' be able to pass for a bit under 30 but overall I would expect people to see me as 30's if you have to simplify things and label people as their 20's/30's/40's/50's and so on. either way, I doubt I look older than my age as I am confident most people would think I am my age or younger as it seems this way from what I have noticed over the years. but I noticed that when I look closely at myself in the mirror I can tell my skin is starting to age some (like general skin and around the eyes a bit) as it's losing that really young look that many of those in their 20's/early 30's have but that's pretty much expected since I am pushing 40. but I still have my hair and no grey (well pretty much no grey as it's not something one would notice as it's very little to nothing. but I suspect that will change over the next decade or so which is normal as many in their 40's have some level of grey and especially once one is around 50 the odds are you will have at least some grey) which I am sure helps to make someone appear younger.
Yeah, but at 29 it's not difficult to look younger (at least not for many, even though some look kind of old for that age range etc) since your still in the spring chicken age bracket. I suspect in another 6 years or so, so say roughly your mid-30's, you will probably start to look a bit older (even though it probably won't be much and I won't be surprised if you still look younger than your age etc).
but I noticed many who are roughly in the 16-25 age bracket all look pretty similar as it can be hard to tell them apart at times but by the time someone is around 30 they will usually look at least in their 20's by then to where they likely won't be mistaken as teens anymore.

I'm 50. I don't have any grey, but I do have a few white strands of hair here and there. Pretty much would have to look for them.

klsYeah, not surprising (I totally believe you) as it seems grey hair is more of a male than a female thing from what I have noticed especially for those around your age as even when they do get it, it's usually much less than guys even though every now and then you will see a exception. males just seem to grey much earlier than females on average from what I can tell as take your typical male vs your typical female around 50 years old (give or take 5 years)... I would imagine the males will easily be more grey over a wide range of people than females even though there might be a exception here and there. even my mom, who's in her early 60's, does not have much grey. it's there but, like you said, you pretty much got to look for it as when just casually talking one would not really see grey on my mom either unless they where actively trying to find it (but there is more of it now than say 10 years ago which I just assume is to be expected). like I would say in my moms case it's more of her hair is thinning out a bit more than grey hair coming in, but even in that dept, it's not something that's obvious.

I am taller than average, so I looked older. There was this one time when I was traveling with my parents and my older brother (1 1/2 years older than me) and we went to a casino with a minimum admittance age of 18. My brother who had already turned 18 was not allowed, whereas I was, even though I was underage.
