Not the real Ned Kelly, of course. They hanged him a long time ago. I'm talkin' about the guy who says I warn "good Catholics" about Hell. That's the truth, but the whole truth is that I warn everyone about Hell. I don't care who you are; good Catholic, bad Catholic, mediocre Catholic, or non-Catholic. Anyway, I thought this might be a thread-worthy topic of its own, and I wanted to ask Ned if these verses are still part of the Catholic Bible, or has Pope Francis thrown them out too? Jude 1:22-23

Have you got that in the Catholic friendly NJB, not those Protestant versions you read 😉

In the meantime, I'll keep doing what I do (warning people about Hell), and you keep doing what you do (wishing everyone a Happy Sunday or a Happy International Happiness Day, as the case may be).

That's fine Erjen my good man, you keep warning people about your fever dream, I'll hold to my Catholic faith, confirmed by his Holiness himself. It's all good 👍

Jude 1: 22-25 (NJB) 22 To some you must be compassionate because they are wavering; 23 others you must save by snatching them from the fire; to others again you must be compassionate but wary, hating even the tunic stained by their bodies.
24 To him who can keep you from falling and bring you safe to his glorious presence, innocent and joyful,
25 to the only God, our Saviour, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, authority and power, before all ages, now and for ever. Amen.

linkMy German translation also uses the word "Feuer" for fire. It is never said what fire is meant.
