Looks like we have a winner!
Captain Marvel has a critics score of 78% and an audience score of just 58%.
Shazam! has a critics score of 91% and an audience score of 90%.
So both critics and audience agree by a double-digit margin that Shazam! is a better movie than Captain Marvel.

Since the lowest MCU film on RT is Thor: TDW at 66%, that means every MCU film is better than Man of Steel (56%), BvS (28%), Suicide Squad (27%), Justice League (40%), and Aquaman (65%)
That means fans and critics agree that every MCU film is better than all those DCEU movies.

So did the critics get confused and think that Shazam! was Captain Marvel because of the historical name changes? Did they think Disney meant Shazam! when they sent the critics their bribe checks to give Disney movies a high score?
