I watched Alita again. And I watched Avengers; Infinity War again. I think the dialogue in Alita is better than the dialogue in Infinity War.
And there was more action in Alita. There are frustratingly long stretches of stupid dialogue in Infinity War.
Pepper Potts - "Don't go fight Thanos's minions for the Infinity Stones. We are supposed to be getting married."
Wanda Maximoff - "Don't go fight Thanos's minions for the Infinity Stones. I love you. I don't want you to get hurt. Let's just stay here together."
Neither Tony Stark or Vision answer with the obvious "If Thanos gets the Infinity Stones we will all be dead. No marriage. No tomorrow."
Instead we get these long drawn out expressions of angst with dramatic music.
And Iron Man arguing with Spiderman and Doctor Strange over childish crap when every second counts.
And Starlord attacking Thanos when the Avengers almost get his glove off."
Stupid.
None of that dumb crap in Alita.
I say Alita is the better movie.
