VII - The Force Awakens
VIII - The Last Jedi
IX - The Rise of Skywalker
Me: … Wait. Why is Skywalker rising now? ^_-

It's a desperate course correction to try to appease longtime fans who were deeply disappointed by Luke's treatment in TLJ.

It starts with "Star Wars", so it's a good title.

I dig it. The Skywalkers were always the most important part of the saga in my opinion. So, to me, this can only be good news.

It’s a cool sounding title.

I know some people are going to think I'm being overly cynical, but the title sounds like the third (dishonest) attempt to hook Skywalker fans for their ticket money. This, after cheating Skywalker fans in TFA with a silent cameo at the end of the movie. And cheating them again in TLJ by mostly mutilating Luke's characterization.
Time will tell.

It's a great title because they have killed off Han Solo, Luke Skywalker and Carrie Fisher is dead so there is nothing really left legacy-wise to sell this on other than sticking "Skywalker" literally in the title.

JJ hates Mark Hamill. I bet he has barely, if any, more dialogue than in TFA.
