Up early here sisters and brothers... Looks set to be another beautiful sunny day.
All the animals to be fed and watered first thing, including Lily the Lodger, and Thomas next door (his humans are having a weekend away).
Cup of tea, then a quick spin around the park with the dogs, then another cup of tea before Mass.
Holy week begins with a gospel reading and procession to St. Bernards with everyone carrying blessed palms to mark Jesus' entry in to Jerusalem.
A lot of gospel to get through at Palm Sunday Mass, so a lot of standing still, wear comfy shoes people.
I'm reckoning Fr. Cosmas will take the shorter (still long) gospel reading option for Palm Sunday as he has two Masses to do in two parishes.
Hope you all have a good Mass today βοΈ
Peace be with you π

Top tip for everyone... If you ever find yourself truly down on your uppers, find your nearest Sikh temple and you will find a good meal π

If you ever find yourself truly down on your uppers, find your nearest Sikh temple and you will find a good meal π They usually serve very good meals for free. Some of them also provide stay for 2 or 3 days for just nominal charges if they have a guest house under them.

We've got four Sikh temples in our city, sadly not near me, otherwise I would pop in to the Langar Hall more often for a meal and good conversation. Good people, do a lot for the homeless here. Very welcoming and friendly places.

Right, off to the procession.
Don't know if the local Protestant church has a Palm Sunday processionπ€· If the two met in the street, it would be like Celtic and Rangers fans bumping in to each other on the way to a game hey π
