The boys seem to age appropriately from 1974 to 2019.
But how damn old was/is dear old daddy dearest (aka Lex Luthor's father in Smallville and, I think, Aidan Quinn's hospital mate in An Early Frost)?

I was wondering that myself. Even if we say that in 1974 he was 35 at the absolute youngest (which is stretching it), then he would have been 80 in the present day. I'm not buying it.

I wasn’t just talking about his current age, I was also referring to the progression of time from the prologue to the present day.

Marvel is the only one seemingly doing de-aging well (if you've seen the Gemini Man trailer....). So it either looks cruddy, or you put on a little make and ask the audience to suspend disbelief.
I thought it was fine.

My only thing is, even if the character is 80, or in his 70s like the actor, that would make the character late 20s to mid 30s.
So he had his oldest kid when he was a teenager.
Unless little Dr. Savana was 10, which is right on target both timeline-wise and in keeping with Mark Strong's age, and big brother was 12 or 13, which I think he was much, much older than that.

I thought it was fine. I saw that with Endgame Damn, it was bad. Its not like they cant find young Will Smith out there to channel into the computer. But that de-age of RDJ was bad...damn...Civil War?

Glover was an EXCELLENT devil. Don't forget his excellent Clamp in Gremlins 2. I swear everyone forgets this Trump spoof. Glover's Clamp wasn't as evil as Donnie

You thought that was bad? The head. The forehead seemed too short? Flat? It looks strange to me. I can't not look at it, but it looks freaky.
