There are more descriptions of Ramsay's stinking deeds in the books than anything with Roose. If you believe your fat wanking "hero" is going to swap things around, you have no understanding of what you are reading. The show improves on the books in the maturity category. Description, yes. His actual presence in the books though? No. He's mostly talked about in the books (or thought about through POV characters) vs. his major role in the show. Ramsay is a one-dimensional character, which is what I was getting at from the beginning. Roose is far more interesting. Even though we're talking about something that is mostly subjective, I could go tit-for-tat with you on the various moments of immaturity in both the show and the books. They each have their moments, and no, the show doesn't improve in that category. They each have their faults. I never said George R.R. Martin was my hero. Also, the fat jokes/insults about GRRM are obvious and way overused at this point. If that's the best people can do after all this time, they don't have much on the guy.

The fat fuck is a self-indulgent shit and it shows in his work. It characterises it, really. You can't leave that out and I am not joking about him. The point remains that he is more interested in describing Ramsay's deeds than Roose's character. This is why the story turned the way it did in the show.
