The rural filmmaking team of Jason Bolinger and Insane Mike Saunders is stationed in Iowa. They take a novel approach to horror, crafting playful, literary films that reflect upon everyday life, celebrate historic Native American culture and utilise the state's agricultural industry. Their movies are imbued with a sense of freedom, capturing the raw spirit of adventure while drawing new mythologies in the great outdoors.

Jason Bolinger and Insane Mike Saunders have to rank as two of the more genuine guys on the horror circuit. They readily support local talent in Iowa and film in different towns and cities. I'll forever appreciate them for inviting Linnea Quigley into the fold as she's a proud Davenport girl, born and bred, and I know how much it's meant to her being able to shoot some horror movies back home. I really enjoy Bolinger & Saunders' intelligent, well researched, localised horror movies. My only lament is there's been little activity seen since 'Demonica' (2014).
Still need to see 'The Bag Man' (2005).
Dark deeds occur in Iowa 'Through The Night' (2007)
Dark secrets are revealed in Iowa in 'Legend Has It' (2008)
Iowa comes under siege like never before in 'Collapse' (2011)
'Coquette' - Annalibera
