I guess she has made to inspire other senior citizens that girl power is still alive and strong. Wasn't that the point of Book Club?

Wasn't that the point of Book Club? I never saw that, but this time it is cheerleading. Whatever works for her and the audience it finds. I do find Keaton is a very radiant being, even if her later films are sappy. its sad honestly.

I do find Keaton is a very radiant being, even if her later films are sappy. The point of Book Club was more to show that contrary to popular belief, female senior citizens can still possess romantic interests and sexual desire (oh, and to attract an older niche audience that would remember and appreciate the actresses). Thus that movie—which pretty much defined mediocrity and formula in filmmaking—did not quite serve the interests of "girl power." I will pass on Poms.

The choices for older actresses tend to be very limited, but I do understand where you are coming from.

She found a good role as Morgan Freeman's wife in 5 Flights Up, a film from 2015 (although it premiered in 2014) that I deemed "very good." Although its climax is flawed, tonally, the movie is intimate and ironic, serving as a wonderful showcase for Freeman and Keaton. Based on their performances in this film, one might imagine that they two were actually married. So, yeah, she could hold out for parts and movies like that one.
