Because it's my favourite...Sex Pistols - "Never Mind The Bollocks Here's..."
Because of it's value /rarity my signed copies of Nick Cave - Boatman's Call or The Cramps - Stay Sick

This is probably cheating but I would grab the backup drive that has all my music on it which is about the same size as a CD.

Not sure which though so I'd probably hesitate and die in the fire.

i'd go with the zip drive that has it all...but if i must choose 1 album, i'd go with Heart's Bad Animals I guess...it's so hard to choose....

I mostly listen to music through streaming, but just as a hypothetical question (if I could save one album in general) I'd pick something like The White Album or Dark Side of the Moon.

I'd be unable to decide! Do I take X's Wild Gift (the best punk rock album ever imo) or Black Flag's My War (I just love the artwork as well as the music!!) or the Ramone's debut album (an album that can't be beat and that's of such historical importance) or Death in June's The World That Summer (with that lovely gatefold cover) or will it be This is Boston Not L.A. (maybe my favorite album of all time)? Suffice it to say, due to indecision I'd end up going down in flames. At that point, I might grab AC/DC's Highway To Hell ...maybe that should've been my choice all along.
